I don’t think any tourist comes here for the city, although everybody leaves with a fond memory of it, at least I did! First of all, I tasted some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Had the coldest beer of the trip and downed pizzas while young beautiful ladies danced Apsara* dances and I felt a bit like the Tomb raider myself… There’s plenty of things to buy here, especially in the night market: spend an evening bargaining for a selfie-stick, a foot massage while fish tickle you to death under the music pkayed by victims of UXOs that make the scene look as if it were coming straight from a sci-fi scene. Then follow the HUGE luminous signs with the name of each street, mainly PUB STREET, where you can drink and eat like a king, unless you like fried spiders, which you can also get, while the lady that approaches you whispers promisingly in your ear “I give you whole body massage Sir!...” Then head back to your hotel and relax, relaaax by the swimming pool and be ready for next day’s baking and the endless temples in an area as huge as you never imagined...
